I have successfully done this a dozen times at least in Mint and Ubuntu. Right click the shortcut on the desktop and add the following to the end of the command that starts it: '-SkipBuildPatchPrereq' Don't need the quotes.CLOSE IT at that point by right clicking the icon in the task bar and choosing Close.

Of course I can't install anything because they require windows, but that is ok. It is missing characters, graphics, and formatting.ĭirectly in Wine I can get it completely installed and working including signing in and seeing all the games I have. I am not having issues with it installing in Crossover, just not complete once the install is done and the sign on screen is displayed.
